December 25th, 2005:This weekend we had a great time remembering the birth of the Messiah - the Lord Jesus. Christmas Eve we gathered and sang carols and heard the Christmas story from Pastor Andy, and a message from Pastor Sam. Today, Pastor Sam preached on Emmanuel, God With Us. December 18th, 2005: Dr. Les Ollila was our guest for the annual Adult Christmas Party, and was also with us for the 8 AM service. Pastor Sam preached in the 11 AM service from Ephesians on The Blessing of Election. In the evening, we saw the kids present "Through the Eyes of a Child" - a Christmas program on the birth of Jesus.

December 11th, 2005: Pastor Sam preached for Ephesians on Blessing God For His Blessings. This evening was the Christmas Cantata "A Great and Mighty Wonder" - a real treat for all who were able to see it. This weekend also was our Junior High Christmas Party, part of the Brookside Youth Ministry.

December 4th, 2005: Pastor Ken Keltner preached from Luke 10:25-37 on Life Touching Life. In the evening service, Pastor Sam continued his series on Deviant Worship from Hosea.

November 27th, 2005: Pastor Bill Lincoln preached from 2 Corinthians 4 on Faint Not. We are gearing up for an exciting Christmas season with many Christmas special events including our Christmas musical, adult Christmas banquets, and more. Pastor Andy Rodriguez preached in the evening on why we must Be An Example.

November 20th, 2005: Pastor Sam is continuing his series in Ephesians, by noting Paul's warning to be sure of your salvation, in his message on the Marks of a True Believer. He also preached from I Kings 12 in his series on Deviant Worship. We hope you have a great Thanksgiving and remember to count your many blessings.

November 13th, 2005: Pastor Sam Horn preached from Ephesians on The Glory of the Ephesian Greeting. Tonight he also continued his series on Deviant Worship. Our teen group, that has been featured on FOX 6, will be having an activity tonight.

November 6th, 2005: Pastor Joe Helm preached from Luke 16:1-12 on Stewardship's Present Opportunity (watch). We have also added to our Resources a new program - Instaverse, which lets you view the verse whenever you see a reference on your computer. This evening, Ken Keltner, our new Associate Pastor preached on Daniel, Darius, and the Lion's Den.

October 30th, 2005: After the great Missions Conference we had last week, we spent the Sunday School hour praying for and encouraging our missionaries. Pastor Joe Helm preached from Luke 16:1-9 on Stewarding Eternal Reward (Watch). We also updated our podcasts so you can subscribe to either the Sunday AM feed or to the All Sermons feed.

October 23rd, 2005: Evangelist Kevin Brownfield preached for our Missions Conference. We were challenged by the needs of our world through his preaching as well as through the many guests that we had as well.

October 16th, 2005: Pastor Sam is continuing his series on Ephesians with his message Barriers to Biblical Giving. This evening Pastor Sam preached on Hosea 4. Apple came out with a video iPod this week that will allow millions to view Reflections as well as our Vodcast. We were also mentioned in several newspapers in relation to the video iPod.

October 9th, 2005: Today is Brookside's 22nd Anniversary. God has been good to us over these years, and we are thankful for all of his wonderful works. Pastor Sam is continuing his series on Ephesians with his message The Basis for Christian Giving. This evening Pastor Sam preached on Grace Greater than our Sin. This upcoming weekend is the AWANA Activity Camp - an exciting time for all of our AWANA clubbers.

October 2nd, 2005: Pastor Sam preached this morning on II Corinthians 8:1-8, entitled The Blessing of Giving. Pastor Joe preached on Psalm 119 in a message on The Heart of David, a message that is coinciding with our new publication TruthTalk.

September 25th, 2005: This fall's Faithful Men began with a retreat at Camp Whitcomb-Mason, with the theme, Avoiding Mediocrity. Pastor Sam preached this morning from Ephesians 1:1-4 on Giving Thanks in All Things. Pastor Bill preached this evening from I Timothy 6:11-12 on The Joy of Our Salvation.

September 18th, 2005: Pastor Sam preached this morning on the Importance of Ephesians (video). This evening, we dedicated our AWANA workers to the ministry that they will begin Wednesday. Ken Keltner shared with us the joys of evangelism.

September 11th, 2005: Pastor Dave Oliver opened our fall season with two great messages. This morning he preached on our First Love (video), and in the evening on A Heart For Revival. Our vodcast was also featured in several newspapers this week.

September 4th, 2005: Pastor Sam started a series on Ephesians (video) today. We also welcomed our Maranatha Baptist Bible College Students who will be ministering with us this semester. This evening, Pastor Sam continued his series from Hosea.

August 28th, 2005:

Pastor Sam preached this morning on Psalm 37. On Wednesday, our vodcast was featured on the front page of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This evening, Pastor Sam continued his series from Hosea.

August 21st, 2005:

Pastor Sam preached this morning on Psalm 119. This evening we heard highlights from our mission teams. Our New York City Mission Team reported on their ministry with Dr. Bill Jones, and our Canadian Mission Team reported on their work with the Syroteuks. This evening, Pastor Sam continued his series from Hosea.

August 14th, 2005:

Pastor Sam preached this morning on Passing Down Your Faith. From the Psalms, he showed how David tried to pass down his faith. This message is also available on video, and on our new vodcast! This evening Pastor Sam preached a moving message on Hosea, a man who became a living sermon.

August 7th, 2005:

We were privileged to have Matt Olson, president of Northland Baptist Bible College, preaching this morning at Brookside. His message on Prayer, Our Greatest Work helped refocus our priorities. Our New York City Mission Team returned safely, and our Canadian Mission Team is ministering this week. This evening Tim Chapman shared his burden for the people of Peru and preached on Following Christ.

July 31st, 2005: Our New York City Mission Team left Saturday,

and we are keeping them in prayer as they share God's Free Gift to the Nations. Pastor Sam preached on Spiritual Commitment, and in the evening continued his message from Amos on Visions that Demand a Verdict.

July 24th, 2005: Our week of Bible Time has ended,

but check out the video from the week! Pastor Sam preached today on Lifelines for the Storms of Life, and in the evening on Visions that Demand a Verdict.

July 17th, 2005:

Today began an incredible week known as Neighborhood Bible Time. The morning began with a message by Pastor Sam on A Ministry of Grace. Also, several people were baptized, publicly making known that they had trusted Jesus to be their Savior. In addition, we dedicated a young child to the Lord, praying that God would protect him, and use him for His glory. In the evening began Bible Time, with Evangelists Mr. Daniel and Mr. Luke.

July 9th, 2005: Brookside

welcomed our friends to Friend Day. Evangelist Tom Farrell was with us and preached on To Be A Good Samaritan. He was also with us for Sunday School and for the Evening Service where he preached on Smashing Satan's Strongholds. We are getting excited about Neighborhood Bible Time coming up next week!

July 2nd, 2005: Today

we honored our local government leaders in our Civil Servant Recognition Service. State Sen. Tom Reynolds shared with us the importance of being involved in government. Also, Pastor Dean Taylor preached in the morning service on Changes. In the evening we heard a report and testimonies from our Mexico Mission Team, and a message from Amos on 4 Steps to Indifference.

June 26th, 2005: Evangelist Mark Kitrell was with us, Evang. Mark Kitrell

preaching on Consecration, and shared about Israel's $2 billion offering. Pastor Sam preached this evening on the Consequences of Spiritual Insensitivity. One of Pastor Sam's articles is featured on the SharperIron Blog. Next Sunday is our Civil Servant Recognition with Pastor Dean Taylor.

June 19th, 2005: We celebrated Father's Day with a gift to all fathers at Brookside today, and were challenged by Pastor Sam on how we can become a Blessed Man from Psalm 1. Our Mexico Mission Trip team left this afternoon to serve for a week with a local church and share God's love with the natives. This evening, Pastor Sam continued his series on the minor prophets as we moved into Amos and saw how Amos' message was an urgent warning for America, and for Americans.

June 12th, 2005: Brookside's Podcast was featured in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel today. This exciting opportunity to reach the world with new technology has brought an international response. Today on the podcast is Pastor Sam's message from Deuteronomy 1 on God's Divine Direction. This evening Wayne Vawter presented the ministry of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches, and took this picture of Pastor Sam.

June 5th, 2005: This has been a busy weekend at Brookside. Friday and Saturday night we ministered to Milwaukee with music and preaching, and shared the good news of Jesus Christ. Saturday morning was the car wash, and Sunday was a great time of hearing sound Bible preaching from Dr. Horn on Obtaining a Good Report, and the final sermon in his series on Jonah, Misery in the Midst of Mercy.

May 29th, 2005: Today was Memorial Day, and we honored our veterans and active duty members of the armed services at Brookside. Pastor Sam preached on Casting All Your Care Upon Him. This Saturday is our free car wash that we are hosting at Capitol Dr. and Brookfield Rd, and this Friday and Saturday night we are going to be holding an outreach in downtown Milwaukee. We've put together some promotional videos on these outreaches that you can watch (Dial-Up or Broadband)

May 22nd, 2005: Pastor Sam took us to John 15 to look at Branches on God's Vine. Looking ahead this week, this Wednesday we are going to be celebrating the achievements of our AWANA clubbers with our awards program. Many of these clubbers have memorized over a hundred verses this year! Congratulations to all of our AWANA clubbers!

May 15th, 2005: Today, Brookside was joined by

the Northland Sports Ministry Team who are in Zambia now. They will be ministering in Zambia with Phil Hunt for about two weeks. Pastor Sam also continued his message on "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." The message will be posted online soon.

May 8th, 2005: Today was Mother's Day at Brookside, and we honored those mothers

for their sacrifice for their families, and service to the Lord. Today also was the first Sunday of our two morning services. Pastor Sam preached from John 13 and 14, looking at three questions the disciples asked Jesus, and Jesus' response to their questions, showing that he is The Way, The Truth, and The Life

is still in town and has been preaching some wonderful messages. Sunday Night we heard about The Flesh v. The Spirit. Monday Night brought us The God You Can Trust. Wednesday PM Brother Steve has convicted us on the need to be Putting Away Bitterness. Teens are having the Cola Wars tonight, and the music and preaching is going to be great.

May 1st, 2005: Our week of evangelistic meetings with Dr. Steve Pettit has begun!

This morning we heard some great music, and a great message on Sin 101. The teens enjoyed getting ready for the Cola Wars with Jeremy Frazor, and the kids enjoyed their special sessions led by Aaron Coffey. But there are still 5 more days to come and be challenged by God's Word, and we would love to see you here!

April 24th, 2005: Today was Nursery Worker Appreciation Sunday. We are very grateful for the dedicated volunteers who sacrifice to serve in the nursery ministry at Brookside. Pastor Sam

preached from John 11 on The Crisis of Faith, continuing in our series on Jesus "I Am" statements - that let us know Him more intimately. We are getting excited about our upcoming week of meetings with Evangelist Steve Pettit (see right) and his team. Please join us next week Sunday at 10:30 AM or 6:00 PM and Monday through Thursday at 7:00 pm. There are special activities for kids and for the teens.

April 17th, 2005: We were blessed to hear the Northern Lights this Sunday Morning.

This ministry team from Northland Baptist Bible College ministered to us in song. Pastor Sam preached a great message on the Crucible of Crisis. If you have ever wondered why God promises to answer prayer and yet seemingly doesn�t - listen to this week�s message from John 11.
