Evangelism at Brookside

One of our burdens at Brookside is to equip believers to be effective in giving the Good News of Jesus Christ to their friends, relatives, associates, neighbors, and others in the world. We accomplish this important goal through preaching, teaching, and training in evangelism.

• COMMUNITY OUTREACHESIn addition to our training, we have a Community Outreach each month. The outreaches vary in method, but the Gospel is always given. For example, we wash people's cars for free during the summer months and give them Gospel literature to read. Most of the people read the tract while their car is being washed, and some have attended our church services because of this outreach.

• OPEN AIR OUTREACHES

Another outreach takes place in downtown Milwaukee or at parks in the Milwaukee area. During these times, we distribute tracts and engage in Gospel conversation with the lost. At these times, many have heard the Gospel and have been challenged in their relationship with the Lord.

• SPORTING EVENTS

One outreach that we have seen many come to Christ is through our basketball tournaments. At the end of the tournament a Gospel Message is given to all of the players and any family or friends attending. Almost thirty teens came to Christ at our last tournament!
