Discipleship at Brookside

After a person receives eternal life in Christ, he must grow in his relationship with the Lord.  Discipleship causes this growth process to take place at a greater pace.

At Brookside, we see descipleship taking place on three levels.

• FIRST, discipleship takes place during the main services of the church.  The benefit of this is to hear God's Word taught verse by verse by a teacher who puts many hours into his message.
• SECONDLY, discipleship takes place during our small group Bible studies.  During these times, a person is able to be involved in group discussion and fellowship with other believers.  The Discipleship class which meets on Sunday mornings at 9:45 is a great class for those who are new believers or for those who were never discipled by another believer.
• THIRDLY, discipleship takes place in one-on-one relationships.  Anyone desiring to meet with another mature believer is connected with a spiritual mentor who will help him in his relationship with the Lord.
