Brookside Chef 2008: Cook-Off of the Century

Team captains may recruit members and are encouraged to communicate with their team before Saturday. The dessert may be prepared before the event if you wish.
Everyone should bring $5 and meet at the church about 5 p.m. We’ll break up into teams.
The team must go to the store to purchase all the items needed for its main dish (must be a chicken or beef dish). You do not need to purchase spices, dressings, etc. You can bring those from home. The dish must serve 8-10 people.
Cook the main dish by 7 p.m.
Each team is judged on its main dish and dessert. Pastor Jonathan is lining up judges and deciding on the judging criteria/points. You may complement your menu with side dishes, appetizers, etc., but those will not be judged.
We’re planning to video this event (like a real Top Chef episode), and Bobbi has already agreed to MC it and interview the participants.
